Working together to improve
community health outcomes.

Pioneers in public health detailing and program implementation.

As a key player in the deployment of the very first public health detailing program back in 2005, we’ve been championing the effectiveness of public health detailing to deliver key messages that improve clinical prevention services since the beginning. Our dedication to promoting public health and wellbeing is what drives us every day as we spread vital information to healthcare professionals and the communities they serve.

We’ve honed our skills, bolstered our expertise, and grown exponentially since those early days, and have been instrumental in the design and implementation of successful healthcare professional outreach programs for state and local public health departments, nonprofits, and health insurance and health services organizations throughout the country.

Today, we remain the only contract sales organization with a decades-long history of supporting municipalities with expert public health detailing programs as well as turnkey recruiting, temporary staffing and management of skilled public health representatives, training, CRM systems and reporting, and operational support. We take pride in the measurable improvements in health outcomes our health department clients have achieved through our partnerships.

A proven track record for delivering mission-critical outreach, education, and support.

Our management team has launched over 65 public health detailing initiatives for health departments nationwide. We have a deep understanding of how to deploy the right representatives to effectively educate and provide community outreach to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other health professionals. Walter Dewees

CEO of OnCall and OnCall EOS

Walter Dewees founded OnCall in 1996, establishing it as a leader in outsourced sales and marketing solutions for the healthcare industry. He has built high-quality sales teams for clients across various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and dental, with complementary services spanning sales force recruiting, telesales, sales training, development, and automation.

In 2005, Walter identified a critical need among state and local public health departments, nonprofits, and health insurance companies for turnkey solutions to deploy educational outreach programs to healthcare providers. OnCall responded by creating effective public health detailing programs that deliver key messages to enhance clinical prevention services and promote public health. Under his leadership, OnCall has become a trusted partner in developing successful outreach programs nationwide.

Today, OnCall is the only contract sales organization with a decades-long history of supporting municipalities with expert public health detailing, recruiting, temporary staffing, training, CRM systems, and operational support. OnCall takes pride in the measurable health outcomes their clients have achieved through these partnerships.

Recognizing the growing need for specialized education outreach, Walter launched OnCall EOS (Education Outreach Services) to consolidate and leverage OnCall’s expertise in public health detailing. This new division supports public health departments, nonprofits, and health insurance companies in their efforts to deploy educational outreach programs to healthcare providers. OnCall EOS focuses on enhancing healthcare education and public health outreach, reinforcing OnCall’s commitment to improving public health through education and support.

With OnCall EOS, Walter continues to drive innovation and excellence, solidifying OnCall’s position as a leader in supporting health education and outreach initiatives.
